WELCOME TO "THE CLINIC"! Intro & HOW IT WORKS...VARIOUS TRAINING & COACHING SESSIONS FOR MUSICIANS, SINGERS, EMERGING ARTISTS, GROUPS, BEGINNERS IN COMPOSITION/SONGWRITING, ASPIRING RECORDING PRODUCERS & ENGINEERS.
Mr. Allen brings a wide range of different skills and expertise gathered from a lifetime working in this industry and will gladly transmit them to support his creative students in their growth and development. The years shared between international performances and recording studio sessions as a writer, musician, composer and arranger with - to name a few, artist Al Green and Producers / Writers Willie Mitchell, David Porter and others - are reflected by numerous awards. Including platinum double disks, six gold records, the prestigious Blues Foundation “Blue Note Award" and more recently, title of "Specialist in Music Production" from Berklee College of Music. At "The Clinic" Perry Michael's technique is aimed at involving bands, musicians, singing groups and/or soloists in the realities of the recording environment and live performance focusing on improving recording techniques where they are needed. Consideration can also be given to professionalizing your productions and performance.
Examples: For Beginners Composers/Songwriters, this course will teach you how to write your own well-written rhythms and melodies. In the field of Live Studio Recording essential topics are discussed during the lessons in this topic. In the first instance, the focus is on your basic skills; afterwards the theory; then, the knowledge gained is translated into practice. This way you quickly get to "feel" the material and gain experience during the process. Ultimately you will progress to work independently and confidently with PROFESSIONAL studio work. For HOME STUDIOS INDIE ARTISTS training and coaching includes for example, producing balanced work using current software (Cubase, Protools, etc...) so that it transfers for the best to listeners on ALL media. Any other issue you may have can be addressed. |

| PRIOR TO STARTING THE PRIVATE SESSIONS: A first FREE INTAKE discussion based on your current knowledge or experience level will take place to define YOUR needs, projected goals, ambitions and desired achievements from this training. Then, your specific exclusive training program will be customized accordingly.
DURING THE PRIVATE SESSIONS: I'll provide professional insights to the essential topics of interest to you as discussed during your intake and implemented in your customized training coaching sessions program and to reviewing your work so that you can modify and improve your performance quality, following my guidance in order to optimize your knowledge and skills for the longer term, moving from theory towards more confidence in the practice, implementation in your future work.
WHERE and HOW TRAINING SESSIONS can take place: Either at any of our affiliates practice rooms and/or studios, or at your practice room or studio, where we'll work in your environment, with your equipment. Also feasible online only session* or a mix of online time and sessions as described above. In practice rooms or studios, we'll work in a targeted way to improve and professionalize your skills and productions. * Online training / coaching occurs via Skype, WhatsApp, Face Time..., including document sharing on the "Cloud", such as recordings to be reviewed. | FEES. Fees will be discussed and agreed upon during the intake discussion and confirmed in writing before the start of the sessions. They will vary up from a basic fee of €50,00 per hour for shorter counseling sessions on a specific project that only requires a few hours involvement to a package fee to be agreed upon for bigger / long term or more complex projects or needs.
